Why Should I Start Playing DayZ Again?

I have had some incredible times in DayZ making some absolutely wonderful memories along the way. I have walked through the time of release to the present time from NWAF to Kammyshovo, and back again. I have had some of my most adrenaline filled moments in this game taking my heart rate up into the 100's. I have become bored. I have become uninspired to continue playing the game to continue traveling the dozens of kilomiters for gear. Why shouls I keep playing. Is their anything within the new update that would make someone like myself want to open the game again and put in th grueling hours again. I would love to continue my experience, but only once there are mexhanics really worth playing for again. Should I continue, and for what.

 

Edit: The last time I played was three months ago.

if you're bored, this patch isn't going to fix anything. Come back when more features are added, survival becomes a thing and the deathmatch crowd has fucked off.

It's not worth it.. wait for some major updates.. I personally feel community is getting worse, too.

IF you have it installed already then come and explore the new areas, try the new guns. Learn to deal with the new zombies.

 

 

That and most of the Desync issues have been fixed.

I am still going to play, but the new patch has only discouraged players with the unbelievable wait times to enter the game...up to 600 seconds.  I was in a server for 25 minutes, and I had to wait 300 seconds when I wanted to meet a friend on another server.
