It's true to an extent, though. There are billions of things the game is lacking in that could be added for the sake of realism. Hell, you yourself are okay with the variety of weapons there are, even with some that are a bit out of place.

There has to be a better reason to add something to the game than realism alone. Otherwise, why shouldn't we have sex, or rape? If they're willing to go to the extent of having digestive systems in the game, which are perfectly natural parts of human life, then why not have sex, which is as well.

I'm not actually arguing for/against the digestion system, mainly the whole "ITS REALISTIC SO WE MUST HAVE IT" argument.

 

It is pretty weird that they're adding some sort of mechanic involving shitting when the game has almost no semblance of nudity to begin with, so I'm intrigued to see what they're actually doing with it.

Well, I'm not arguing in defense of said people.

But there are plenty of people who will say "yes" to anything that will make the game more realistic, simply because it is. Just like you've got all of the people calling for the devs to take out the Western weapons and abandon their hard work on them because they're unrealistic.
