Yeah it would be great in any zombie game.

Anyone that doesn't want it is just weird to me.

It is a zombie game! I mean c'mon.

If you watched a zombie movie without gore(that isn't a comedy or some shit) it would be disappointing to say the least.

 

The reason we will never see it is because of the engine Dayz is on.

Don't think dismemberment and gore would come out satisfying enough to make it worth it.

If you have the game in your steam inventory you'd be allowed to play it whenever you wanted, but no one else would be able to purchase it if it were banned.

Steam won't remove games from your account or deny you access to them, so long as you've purchased them.

Doesn't Steam have to deny access? Like, it's still in your library, but as long as you're signed in/online (required for DayZ) you can't launch?
