Grudu (DayZ) 0 Posted April 21, 2014 Hi everyone, Soooo earlier this day I broke my leg in the woods, tried vainly to drown, climb rocks to kill myself... without succeeding. I decided to let my character die of starvation and launched a tower defense flash game. I launched cheat engine quite stupidly and hooked it to chrome. A few minutes later I got back in dayz and got kicked by battleye. I've never hacked in any multiplayer game and I have several questions to ask : will I get VAC banned? Will I get banned by battleye? I mean I can join battleye protected servers now but I've heard I can take several days for you to get banned? Thanks for your answers. Grudu (DayZ) 0 Posted April 21, 2014 I've never cheated in any multiplayer game, I think cheating in single player games is fine (VAC is ok with it) but well... I was banned from one free to play korean mmorpg becouse it detected my cheat engine that I was using to gieve myself all the best items to test them in diablo 2 singelplayer. But since it is not free to paly korean mmorpg but VAC and battleye then it is very possible that kick from game will be only consequences and not ban. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
OrLoK 16188 Posted April 21, 2014 Hello there If CE was just in the background you should be ok, even if kicked. BE tends to just boot you if you are not doing anything wrong. blightninja 0 Posted April 21, 2014 Hi, I just got banned after playing Epoch Panthera then going off because huge desync and decided to go on wasteland for a bit, sure enough cd key is invalid so i got told by my mate to validate the integrety of game cache then after doing that i try to rejoin and i cant join any (it gave no specific reason apart from i cant connect) server, thinking its just a bug on the vanilla game, go back to dayz and im globally banned for no reason, i got nothing on my computer that would allow me to hack in any shape or form nor do i have a shared cd key or anything along those lines and every other angle you look at it from, its the third time i been banned for no reason, my evaluation of it is, if your as unlucky as me and you want endless misery because of this pile of sh*t anti cheat then this is the game for you otherwise its just no worth the money... You'd have an easier time robbing a bank and murdering david cameron and getting away with it than you would getting away with being a legit player and not getting banned, also to add insult to injury to this sh*te anti cheat engine which seems to prefer to ban legit players and endorses the hackers, not once have i seen a hacker get banned but all the time for legit players...
