DayZ Standalone glitch room....

Ok so Im sure the majority of people know about the glitch room at North East Airfield in the jail. Im sick of people killing me when they are inside of the room. I do tend to stay away now but it shouldn't be like that! My question is, does anybody know of a way to kill these people in the glitch?

Wrong section, try shooting them, works 4 me, this is why i always go into the garage area in the jail and wall glitch to check if anyone is in the glich room.

Why can't they just put rocks or some shit in these buildings to stop people from doing this.  It's getting extremely annoying, and more common.

 

It's apparently super easy too considering the ease in which people go in and out of the walls.

 

Honestly, this and duping are pretty much the only exploits/cheats I see commonly and both seem like they should be fixable at least.  It would be really nice if they'd dedicate some time to this shit, because it would make the alpha a heck of a lot more enjoyable.

I have a question im very new to day-z standalone. Why cant I shut doors to avoid zombies or for that matter I walk into a building and they walk through the walls to kill me. I understand that this is an alpha but they should correct that first

From the glitch room, afaik, you can't shoot anyone.

Tried it, couldn't shoot a zombie that was standing 20m away.

 

'Hacking' away the buildings alltogether makes them pass-through, you can see, walk and shoot through them.

 

Haven't tried that 2nd option, but as it's still active in the bug tracker, and I've seen people just run through the jail buildings, I am pretty sure it is what you experienced.

Those are the ones that usually kill you from odd angles.

 

Killing those in the room should be pretty easy: camp them out. They can't leave the room easily, it requires some wiggling, during which they can't move or aim properly.

Or try and lead a zombie up the stairs, it'll go through the walls to the one in that room.

I also had the privilege of meeting such a person today. He shot two times while i was in the upper-bedroom (dunno exactly from where, i havn`t tried this yet) but missed. As i left the room there was another shot that hit my legs, and they broke. Then i saw him coming up the stairs. He was obviously a joker and said "maybe i bandage you....with a bullet in the head, haha". Funnily enough he shot 4 or 5 times from point blank at my hat (head) and....missed, just my legs were still broken. I told him "u hit like shit", he reloaded and shot again a few times. No effect. I said something like "hey there, i`m still alive, wanna do something now or what?" I swear i felt some rage coming up on him.

The next shot was deadly and he was rewarded to loot my 2 perforated cans of beans/spaghetti, a cowboy-hat and a box of 9mm-ammo.

Dunno if his gun was glitched, maybe he gltiched too much and the god of glitches took his hand in it. Anyway i felt like i come off as a winner from this situation and still have to smile when i think about it.
