Etherimp 1323 Posted April 20, 2014 At the time of this recording, I have yet to die on experimental servers. It's important to note that while I usually try to communicate with others, I am on a packed 50 player server, on experimental, alone, looting one of the most dangerous places on the map due to the likelihood of running into geared groups of players - NWAF.

teapot156 79 Posted April 20, 2014 You should be playing on hardcore servers. Although people still exploit and combat log all the same, the demographic of more experienced players is larger.

This was Experimental LA server... They don't have any hardcores, only regulars. :\ I've said it in other threads and I'll say it here: I'll be the first person to rejoice if the entire game becomes 1st person only... I played CS for 7+ years, battlefield, Quake2, UT, etc.. I love first person. Unfortunately, most of the DayZ population plays 3pp, and that's where "most" of the action is at. You notice a lot of times in this video in particular, I take certain positions and do certain things specifically because I have the other person using 3rd person in mind... It's a double edged sword for sure. Nice Vid liked the heartbeat sound near the end .Bump That last guy had u dead to rights can't believe he only fired once. Thanks buddy! That's really how my heart was beating in that moment. I should have seen that guy, but I didn't even realize where the shot came from at the moment.. Then he did the silly thing and ran up to the same exact tree I was standing in, and I heard his footsteps. :) B) Great tips. Good action. Really enjoyable video. Airfields are tough spots. Lorax 99 Posted April 20, 2014 I like the video. I've found that I can play on the UK exp hardcore servers with decent enough ping until they get some American servers up. If you are on the west coast though that might not work out too well.If you ever feel like playing with other like minded individuals hit me up, also keep posting your vids. EvilTigerAce 131 Posted April 20, 2014 Hey, when people log out, they sit on the ground for 30 secs... So combat logging isn't that worthy as it was. Did you know? :)
ijjiAngry 13 Posted April 20, 2014 Haha nice man. Like the way you play.

Did you know? :) He mentioned in the video that loggers bet that whomever they shot at isn't going to rush and catch them logging since they might not be logging. The 30 sec thing doesn't fix the problem. It should be several minutes at the very least, and maybe some type of audible indicator that can only be heard in a 10 meter radius so the logger can be found out and executed. Multiple minutes!? So you have to run 1km from cities and villages? I dislike this. Why? Because sometimes; -I get kicked (ping)-I have to go afk really fast I always log out at safe spots but multiple minutes would not only affect combat loggers but also people who just leave. :D Edited April 20, 2014 by EvilTigerAce

I don't think several minutes.. But maybe add a sound that people can hear, the same as when you log in.. But not a reload.. I dunno, maybe a snoring sound or something? like someone is going to sleep?
