Two walkie talkies for trolling or is a transmitter with walkie talkie better?

Hello all. I've been looking for a transmitter for a long time now, I've searched all places for one but haven't been able to even see one. I've wanted to try it out with a walkie talkie for troll purposes. I've seen a few videos of others doing this, and I want to be able to drop it off somewhere and go find a spot to hide/observe while I play backstreet boys for everyone to hear. But ALL I can find is a ton of walkie talkies.

 

In this video I recently find, the guy shows that a dropped walkie talkie can still play the sounds for all people around. What's the difference between using two walkie talkies in that way, opposed to using the transmitter as well?

 

Does the transmitter not broadcast your voice in direct chat when using a walkie talkie with it? Is there any specific way to set it all up to make ONLY the transmitter play my mic chat/songs? Or can you be always heard from people around your character in direct voice chat as well, and does the two walkie talkie setup also have that ability?

transmitter was the name of walkie talkie, but thay changed it.
