4. (Hardcore) where the hell is everyone? ran around full server 40/40 for 2 hrs and saw no one except a fresh spawn gearing up.

1, might just be the "raised" weapon stance

2, just drag both onto your toon in inventory screen

3, .....nabs.....said it yourself ;)

4, well if they insist on restricting there opponents view so they don't get shot so much....that's what happens :P

5, crowbar small point of impact....mor likely to bounce off or crush a small point of bone sticking in.....anx has more weight inertia and a much broader cutting edge, will lacerate better and sink deeper :)

6, they have said a lot....including that its being worked on...that was said less than an hour ago in another thread ;)

Hard helmets and hard masks don't work together anymore for realism's sake. But anyway, don't wear masks. The functionality is questionable and they just make you look bandity.

1. it seems to be a random chance, I managed to block a hit from a random guy, my group tested around with the system and found that if you swing, or hold out your ax, you enemy can strike it and result in a metal hitting sound, leaving you unharmed. (if this is what you meant) 

2.You Can't anymore, it was removed and it's because of the clipping issues with the payday masks and the ballistic helmets.

3.I don't know but it makes a spotter's life easier, lol, they might as well be wearing bright orange hunting gear.

4.Some servers that are hardcore have groups of people that roleplay and try to survive the longest out in the north, try an airfield/berezino?

I expect a fire ax nerf when chainsaws or spiked bats are added. but to answer your question, i think it's because of it's massive swing, heafty weight, and purpose of breaking down doors and walls. I wish some other weapons weren't as craps as they are.... like crowbar, wrench, and shovel, too short of range not enough power.

1. Nothing can be done. We can't control what programs people run in the background unless they interfere with the game (hacks).

2. Night will be worked on further.

3. We are exploring ways of dealing with this. In the meantime, I would suggest playing on hardcore servers.

I think the point about the crowbar is valid. There is a certain threshold above which it doesn't really matter what you hit someone with - it's lights out regardless. This applies to axes, crowbars, bats, pipe wrenches and probably shovels too.

 

An axe is more likely to kill you outright, but it's a bit silly that we're able to take multiple hits from the others without it really affecting us much - especially given how powerful fists are.

 

I mean, even holding a spanner or a screw-driver in-hand should be more effective than using your bare fists.

I agree, we are much more fragile than games/ Hollywood would portray us to be. That being said iv seen things that amaze me. A friend of mine was attacked with a hammer while he waited for the bus one night, by the time I got there it was over, however dispite a hell of a lot of blood and 3 clear deprssions in his skull he was completely alert....it was weird.

 

Iv also seen another friend hit with a shovel across the back of the head without warning. I tell you, that guy was not expecting him to turn round and start swinging. Now this guy is a boxer so I can understand he could take a hit, but the first guy works in a call centre lol. Hes never had a fight to speak of in his life but he took those hammer blows.

 

I guess a lot is down to the individual, and there pain threshold. But for the majority of us a firm whack to the head from anything with weight would be game over :)

Yes, And I have used a crow bar to demolish part of a house I was reconstructing... Both would pretty much kill a human being outright if hit in the head. Also a full size crow bar would shatter your bones.. its made of pure steel...Makes no sense why I can hit someone 20 times with a crow bar to kill them and 1 time with an axe... its just dumb.

 

Same with knife... Never met a person who could take 20 stabs to the face/chest with a bayonet/combat knife and just bandage themselves with a torn up shirt and call it good after they killed the person with the knife in a few punches. Also dumb.

 

You guys are going for realism right? Start with weapons. Also.... I can shoot accurately 300 yards with my m4 IRL..... dunno why we cant hit shit in this game.

9. Seems like whenever I played this on a sega master system it was always RIO.

10. It always gets louder when I mess with this.

11. I made one so large one time it blew through a decent size tree it also had the largest potato I have ever held in it. Took three cans of aqua net to fill the chamber. The third time we fired it someone got second degree burns...
