Blay Wayne 31 Posted June 25, 2012 at least two guys, I got shot at by a third and heard a DMR-sounding sniper rifle being fired.basically a bunch of guys with fuckoff good gear get raided and start dying, then suddenly the server restarts. lunaraitic 0 Posted June 26, 2012 Only thing that can be rolled back is vehicle locations on the server (not an actual roll back just what happens if you crash the server before the vehicle spots are saved), Say you raid their camp they can roll back to avoid the loss of vehicles and smashed tents. Alfie (DayZ) 8 Posted June 26, 2012 Well your timings slightly off as 11.19 GMT + 1 the server had hit a scheduled reboot. You weren't fighting Admins, or even AQ members. UK9 is actually what we call our "home" server. I don't even think anyone in AQ has even played on UK5. It's solely there to support DayZ. Some players have sadly mistaken this exploit to = admins can alter saves and have other super powers. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
NigeyS 16 Posted June 26, 2012 This happened on LU15 yesterday, i was having a hour in game before dinner, had a good chunk of loot, heading into the forest, got sniped, about a minute later it hit the time for the server restart (we restart every 8 hours) probably looked dodgy to the guy that shot me but hey ho, such is life. You just can't win. I understand there are abusive/destructive child like administrators out there, but that doesn't automatically mean every single Admin is too. And sometimes their methods of dealing with other players aren't exactly fair. The shared database is the problem, because players can't just ignore shitty servers.
