quite upsetting lol

i was having some connection issues before I logged out,i called my isp got it all sorted and fired up the game, now my character on the main screen was fine all gear and weapons seemed to be intact but as soon as I joined a server I was an insta noob! for no reason no death came upon my wary eyes before I logged out,i guess it was to do with the connection issues I was having , that said is this perhaps temporary or rectifiable if not I am truly gutted,i was playing for bout 2weeks without dieing and I know thats the name of the game but it just seemed unjust!

While the game is still in Alpha phase you should really avoid getting attached to your character and gear.  It's possible that when you lost connection your character maybe went through the 'logout' sequence where he sits down and waits 30 seconds before disappearing and during that time a zombie or player might have gotten you.

Perhaps you logged onto a regular or hardcore server? (forgive me if you're aware of this already) - the new zombies WILL kill you if you log within their reach - otherwise "unjustness" happens to all here in Dayz if that makes you feel any better

yea guess your right I was pretty pissed off as my main problem is finding out where the heck I am! :) I had half a map and a compass before, back to the damn drawing bored then xD argh need someone to play with lol thanks for the reply bro! I blame virgin media for there crap wifi signals lol
