Spawned in the middle of nowhere

Need help badly, I'm spawning in the middle of nowhere in a valley. Every now and then I see a player model warp in and out. The only other thing near there is a pig, no trees no grass no nothing.

Tell me there's something else to do besides clicking "respawn".

I've been running for around 20mins SE as you adviced, still though looks like i m running in a matrix neverending world. Am I still on the game map and at some point I ll reach the gameborders?

hate to be the bearer of bad news but from what i've seen it could take an hour + to do

Damn, Nerd is one of our group and he spawned nowhere to be found! that's an issue we have to fix cause its game-ruining.

Still running... and just now started to loose blood due to dehydration. I'd better try my luck according to the link.

I just had a server do a restart on me and when I logged back in, I was in the middle of the wilderness and had lost all of my gear. Am I seriously going to have to run for 2+ hours in a direction that i can't figure out now I've lost my compass?

Better off respawn next time. this wilderness thing looks like its a * in the arss

Update:

In about 1 hour and 50mins of running like crazy SE, I started seeing trees and after that I was back in the gameplay map. Phewwwww. That was close. Anyways, if you dont have sufficient food/drinks, a compass and lots of patience, you are pretty much screwed if you spawn in the debug area now.

Also, joining Canada 2 as mentioned in the above link, didnt work for me.
