Seriously........

 

Did anyone expect the game to be in this state 3 months after its release?

 

I want to love this game so much but I feel its slipping away day by day as no real update of any significance are applied.

 

And so it remains, Zero loot re-spawning, no method of storing items other than on ones person, limited zombies etc etc

 

I just don’t understand why we were told that the loot would be handled differently but they clearly didn’t have a clue how to achieve this.

Were were told that the standalone would be hacker proof …..WHY ?????

The FPS are god awful now with not even 10% of the game content

Vehicles end of Q4 ? really……. Why can’t they give us a mountain bike or something?

I know 99% of you will respond saying ITS AN ALPHA BLA BLA BLA , but come on WE ALL EXPECTED MORE THAN THIS.

The Basic core elements of the mod are not even realised at this stage and Dean leaves in 9 months.

Well, I guess I knew what was to be expected when I started DAYZ about a month ago and I can only hope you are too pessimistic. I just hope once some core issues have been addressed and the new hires get into full swing the pace of considerable updates will increase. Of course I hope this game will evolve into what we all hope but honestly, for the amount I paid and the hours I already have in I already don't consider this a waste of money. I guess I will patiently wait what 2014 brings.

Everything has a reason to be in its place at the moment, if they started to add stuff in from loads of people spamming about 'how they would bikes' etc they would probably get into abit of pickle. there would be alot of cinfuseing with trying to sort everything out and thats why dean has made this roadmap for dayz so he can produce updates etc at a slow state. He said ages ago when the game was just started to be made that he dosent want to rush the game. personally i dont mind waiting as im sure this game is going to be amazeing after all the updates and has became a full game.

 

it all boils down to waiting, playing the waiting game can be abit of an arse sometimes {excuse my french} but hey at the end of the day remember all those people who were screaming 'just release dayz standalone already' what did people expect, no bugs....maybe a finished game right of the bat? just enjoy the game and play buddy, if not, just leave it until you think its worthy of you playing buddy :)

Really for only being out for 3 months, the game is very much playable. For alpha, that's not bad. There are bugs, yes, but there are also games fully released with gamebreaking bugs.

It's not that bad. Running everywhere sucks, but it still only took me around 15 min to actually make it from Pavlovo to Berezino yesterday. Jam something in that W key and go AFK for a few minutes. It goes by pretty quick.

Once vehicles are added, though, I think you'll see a lot more people out in the world and not Elektro death matching it. Plenty more to come. Don't play if you don't like it right now. You still own the game and get it when it goes to beta or release.

Updates are pushed to experimental every day.

Noone said that - hackerproof is something noone can do.

Since launch I jumped from average 20 to above 45. Can't really say it's not being worked on.

I was going to leave the Rezzed-presentation here, but it seems you've already watched that. It should give you an indication of what's going to come.

It will come soon and some of it is applied to experimental already.

 

 

I will lock this now, as it's an unmerited rant-thread. Feel free to create content that is in a manner of constructive criticism, that is something we can work with. This just seems like an uninformed rant.
