What buildings should be added/redesigned

I want to see real civilian airports like in Altis and a port used for ferrying tourists not an industrial one. 

 

Recently we have police stations and single story hospitals added.

 

What other types of buildings do you want to see added in chernarus

a market place with the odd piece of food and clothing left on the stands and on the floor would be nice, they could make it to look like all hell broke lose with stands flipped over etc

Casino / gambling house, wealthy households/mansions with garden left untreated, enterable ships at city harbours, natural caves, museums

Anyways, I think a small automobile repair shop would kinda fit in somewhere, seeing as how there's vehicles all around.

As far as I know, cars were mainly fixed at gas stations during that time. (in the game)

Yeah this is true...a small farming community wouldn't exactly put a priority on cars like more western countries.

Just thinking of better places vehicle parts can go. Finding a wheel for a car in the middle of a grocery store in the mod was just kinda weird.

Mines, great place to find explosives and hide things, not exactly a building, but in a rural, industrial area, you would expect to find that, wouldn't you? They wouldn't be open pit, just small, deep mines, not exactly creepy, but a great place for the rest of the survivors at this point to die out in, I would expect some great loot

Makes sense, I would expect them in barns, leaning against houses, or stranded with broken cars, gas stations, piles of junk in garbage dumps

Science Facilities, Mental Asylum, Hotels, Amusement Park, A Concert Ground, Office Buildings (Similar to Apartments), Capsized Container Ship with loot on shore, Civilian Plane Wreck, Abandoned Quarantine Zone and a High Value Prison.

all towns are simmilar with intarface... i think Dev's are eaven lazy or bored to add some new design... i dont know if any town in RL in Russia look the same as here >.< only difference is house oritation

How about those big looming industrial brick buildings that are huge but are not enter able. They are covered in windows and such and most of them where in the original arma2. I hope we see some of them enter able one day and some new ones also. 

 

More big buildings with lots of floors and rooms. I would love to see the industrial zone of somewhere like cherno a very scary and unpleasant place to be, especially at night. You are only there if you need to be. Some of those narrow alley ways between the buildings over looking (being enter able) would add alot more character to those kinds of areas especially in the bigger towns along the coast.. The kind of area that alot of people wouldnt really check every room of every building unless you were sweeping with a small team of 4 or more. The kind of place that echoes creaking metallic sounds from the wind and the odd chance of finding a murderous hermit in his squalor on the top floor who went unfound for a long time.

 

Anyway, as you can tell I have a fetish for industrial zones having more notoriety.

 

So just any bigger buildings with floors and rooms especially office and industrial.. Some of the buildings in red orchestra are a great example but only as reference I suppose because its an entirely different region

Posts like this piss me off. You'd rather the art devs stop all their current work on fixing graphic problems that greatly reduced your frames per second to make new buildings for the sake of variety? Variety will come when the major problems are fixed since building variety does nothing to help fix the game.

I want overgrown houses, schools, industrial areas etc. Maybe not the ones in the big cities or the ones in the middle of plains but I definitely want villages or lonely shacks and mansions somewhat reclaimed by nature.

A redesign of the airfield buildings to have more rooms and floors I would also be necessary. That and a weapon storage warehouse for weapons to spawn in because guns are not stored in solider barracks.

Cause the area is mainly popoulated by farms some mill will be good addition and they can be a good sniping spot while in field and open areas:

if you dont know what alpha means, it means there is no "major" or "minior" bugs and priorites.... go google word alpha game's... they can add 1000 new stuff then fix no rules -.-'

I do know what alpha means. There is no special meaning to it. Alpha is the time to fix core game problems. I'd rather see new buildings added during beta.

 

You, on the other hand, should research "Alpha" as majority of your topics consist of you complaining about several parts of the game, along with 9,999 other topics made by other people.

 

And there ARE priorities. What in the world made you think Dean doesn't have priority bugs that he wants to ultimately fix before anything else?

 

Example: I'm pretty sure Dean would rather fix low client fps issues (in which he has been doing) before he fixes the god-awful dispersion ratings the weapons have.

I'm surprised theres no clothing stores in Chernarus, I mean we don't need malls but I would think the people would have to buy their clothing some places. I also think since its a rural place that the farms should be more than a 1 or 2 room barn with some hay. There should be fences, corrals, large multi-room barns, and possibly animals still alive around the farm. Just some thoughts.

I would like few things:

 

- Library

- Cemetery

- Morgue

- Theme Park (only in Cherno)

- Theater

- Mine 

 

And burned houses and buildings, or completely ruined from bombs to add more of a apocalyptic feeling.

All the old buildings ported from OFP/ARMA/ARMA2 redone, the hospital expanded lots, ie full interiors, every room in every building enterable, lots of junk loot where it should be, a warderobe with different colours of the same clothes items etc. Balota turned into a civilian airstrip, airport hangars with detailed interiors, more military buildings that make sense, so armourys that spawn weapons as opposed to some know leaving an M4 on his bed and an SKS under it
