It's been a fortnight since we did battle over some trivial odds and ends on the Balota airstrip. Out of respect for you, I thought your last words should be broadcast to whom it may concern.

 

I want you to know that I will neither forget you, nor our battle. You had me pinned down in a barracks, scaring the living shit out of me as bullet after bullet rang just inches above my head. Your fatal mistake was overextending yourself, and my ability to count to ten. After that tenth 7.62mm round stopped short at the door in front of me, I charged from my place of refuge like a bat out of hell, fixated on stopping short your reign of terror. Several tense seconds later, you were looking at the flowers à la Lizzie.

 

Take solace in knowing that your two friends who attempted to avenge you are now also in an eternal slumber. Perhaps you will meet them again somewhere in the great beyond.

I think i may have to start writeing notes...i normally leave them for fresh spawns with a drink and opened tin of food saying 'best of luck'.

There really needs to be a different "note" object though.

The same paper object with some writing on the skin once it becomes a "note" would be enough to make people stop and read the ones you might leave around.  Of course, I would demand a version of the scrawled note to be available for every color of ink pen, such that if the writing of the note was done with a green pen, the "writing" on the "note" that you see laying on the ground is green too.
