franzuu 211 Posted April 1, 2014 Papers that have nothing written on them and papers that do should have separate models, names and textures. In inventory too. One should be "Paper", other should be "Note". This way I will be checking out the notes people write (because I'll be aware of them) and leave some myself. Right now its likely just going to be blank and a waste of time. I am surprised I haven't seen a suggestion for this yet. Anyone agree?
Jex 1104 Posted April 1, 2014 Yes! Whilst they will be worked on, it's debatable whether they thought to make two textures for them but yes, being able to recognise at a glance and also, being able to pin them to anything is a must. But move this to the suggestions thread :)

I have no technical knowledge how that would work though.
Ziad 34 Posted April 4, 2014 Umm... Papers generally spawn on a table or some such. If you drop one to leave it behind, it usually ends up on a floor or in the street. But yes, a bulletin board that such could be pinned to sounds good. Especially if there is a good sniper position that covers it... :D A problem I see is the question of whether such should be persistent. You could end up with a very cluttered board in a few days; or a message could be up for ten minutes and be gone at server restart if they were not persistent. haven923 65 Posted April 4, 2014 Every time I find a paper and pen in close proximity to each other, I try to leave a note. I try to put them in suspicious places, but it all feels kinda futile. We actually stops to check paper to see if it has writing? :/ I did find one note in a prison at NEAF that had gibberish on it. Not sure if that was generated by the game or a server hopper did it. I had a different colored pen, though so my message was separated :P
Skyelur 57 Posted April 4, 2014 (edited) Yessssssss haha I always see paper and wonder if there is writing on it, never does, def needs a seperate name Edited April 4, 2014 by Skyelur
BoB4uk.Bet 0 Posted May 21, 2014 it is necessary that these papers can be hung on the wall, and that they stood out as something to be noticed
Agrefits 70 Posted June 21, 2014 As i am one who loves writing notes, this topic deservers a bump. Furthermore please make unwritten sheets of paper stackable ( 5 to 10 should do). As i am hardly willing to use up 4 x 4 slots just to carry around some paper.
rotteck 104 Posted June 21, 2014 maybe make that you could use duct-tape to stick them to objects,oh, and they should be persistent, or at least last for about 3 days or so
Sencha 100 Posted June 21, 2014 Agreed. I'm not going to go around picking up every piece of paper in the hopes that it MIGHT have something written on it. If it says "paper with scribbles" however, I'm going to read it.
