I've fallen victim for quite a few sneaky plots and I will inevitably fall for the same stupid tricks again in the future.

Why? Because trusting people is risky and that makes it so much more fun.

But it really sucks when it fails and you're lying on the ground unconscious and hear the Hyena laughter followed by multiple Die BITCH.     

 

Last night when was luting the jail at ( Svetlo ) Airfield I suddenly heard somebody spawn on the second floor.

Hey Man are you Friendly? YES. Bla bla bla. He sounded a little bit like he was Russian so I asked if he was. ( I've not yet met a nice Russian )

I'm from Turkey he said and told me that his leg was broken and asked if I could help? 

He sounded sincere, like they always do. I said sure and walked up the stairs with empty hands and BANG.. 

For once it was true. He was crawling around on the floor and had probably tried to spawn back and forth looking for morphine or somebody to kill for it. 

Well I had some sticks but no rope. I offered to go and look for some. I got to the other side of the Airfield when I remembered we can use rags too.  

We fixed his leg and he was very very happy and I was grateful for not being killed afterwards.

 

Same story tonight.

I was in the Hospital building on the hill overlooking Balota Airstrip when I heard somebody spawn inside the little storage room on the roof.

I backed down a few steps as I wouldn't had time to climb up before he was ready.  

He probably heard me walking down, or perhaps he saw me, like we sometimes do when we spawn inside buildings.

I waited a few seconds before I called him out on the Mic. But he didn't respond.

I backed up into the corridor and waited another minute or two as I was sure he was up there waiting for me to climb the "Stairway to Heaven"  

Suddenly I read a text message from "Anacondria"  Anyone here? Just me I said. Are you Fi or Fo I asked. Friendly he said. OK. 

A little bla bla bla later and wouldn't you know, yet another guy with a broken leg that needed medical assistance. Sure, I can help.

I asked if he had a Mic? Yes he wrote. Well why didn't you use it in the first place and why didn't respond when I called on you before? 

Then he starts talking but it sounds like he's trying to make the Mic sound worse than it probably is.  

Hmm your not trying to fool me are you? No No, I need help he says.

 

He didn't sound trustworthy at all. So I sprint outside and into one of the tall buildings overlooking the roof he's on.

I spot him just as he's climbing down from the top of the storage room onto the roof.  I had an easy shot right there but decided to wait for the evidence.

And wouldn't you know, the bastard starts sprinting across the roof like Ben Johnson, another liar btw. And dives for cover behind the edge of the roof.

He didn't have clue where I was and his cover was futile.  I shot him twice, one in the body and one in the head, just to be sure this F... snake was dead.  

Now he can change his name to "Hypocondria"

Good story, OP. People are usually lying assholes. Ran into a couple guys who were willing to run with me and my buddy. But when I tried adding them on Skype, one of them shot at my friend. Ended up missing and hitting his own buddy, but still. "I'm friendly" means jackshit anymore.

Anyone else have a "Nice Try" story.

 

I would have had my story on Shadowplay but I unfortunately had to disable it as Nvidia keeps f.... up the drivers one way or the other >:(  

The last 335.23 driver is no good, or perhaps its just "Nvidia Experience". I was just watching a You Tube clip when everything started to grind. 

I checked the Task Manager and saw Nvidia Streaming service suddenly using 1.5gb of ram. :o

Hmm are you saying you're so good that you're always successful when fooling players.

Btw I don't mind if you or anyone else actually play that way. Its part of the game as well as in RL.

And this is the first game I've ever played where I can say "I'm Friendly are You?"  The answerer is usually YES

However I'm sure the statistics, at least based on my measly 210h experience, leans more towards a 65% chance you'll get wacked when you lower your guard.   

 

Well If what you say is true? Then you're even better than George Bush, since you haven't even been fooled once, or failed trying. 

And if so. You must be one unique character for sure and I would certainly hate to meet a bad ass like you in game.
