Ruined items from zombie hit

Recommended Posts

May actually happen that zs hits ruin your containers (backpacks, clothes, etc).

I've just been hit by 2 of them, having my jacket and my backpack both ruined, with them any item inside.

Inside my  backpack, that yellow suitcase (the one with 6 inner slots), and everything contained in it were completely ruined.

Does it really makes any sense? How are those bare-hands sloppy things be supposed to ruin a backpack, a solid container inside of it, and all of the items inside? Just to be most straightforward, i'm not talking about pvp hits (melee or shots), but just about zs.

What i suggest, let the hits be as hard as you please on characters body but please find a better balancing about this thing.

Furthermore, items should have different status-change ratio. Bare hands, for example, could break an apple, a water bottle,  a soft item in genral, but should not be that hard on bullets, cans, and anything like that.

Firstly, may i say ALPHA secondly i agree but dean has stated the damage system needs quite a bit if work

My tips: take the time to line up those headshots, they wont ruin any gear not on the head

Second, if possible dont store items in tops or pants.

They aren't weak. Just pretend they rip it over or something and your items fell from it and broke. You have imagination, so use it.

Yeah - dropping bullets, rags and bandages, cans of food and mags don't break them.

i think every 1-2 hits from a Zed the item should degrade by 1.

And if it's badly damaged or ruined, the items inside take dmg.

1-hit-everything-is-ruined, is bad and i don´t like it.

Can't see how the "alpha" argument fits here anyway, i'm not complaining, i'm suggesting

Mostly, we give suggestions as we are in alpha and devs may appreciate opinions about directions to take
