Reason why PVP is unbalanced.

To start off , there will be always people that will kill you . But in the past few updates as new players started comming more people started dieng.

I guess one of the reasons people get this mod is to kill people not zombies . When I first started playing I was able to get a group of 4 people to play with me and not shoot me..But now from the threads I hear , even a guy with flashlight will try to kill you.

Honestly I kill everyone I see , because If I don't I only have a chance of dieng if he sees me. If there was a system to reward you or something for not killing players often maybe people wouldn't be so trigger happy..I know I would be more careful...

Most of us have clans / teams so I don't have use of this person , if he would teamup with us he would be just another "mouth to feed" .

Average lifespan is higher now than it was six weeks ago, with more concurrent users.

I guess one of the reasons people get this mod is to kill people not zombies.

Do you have to guess that? It's spelled out for you right there on the "What is Dayz?" page. They even included an image for you:

Anyway, what does any of this have to do with the title of your thread? What is "unbalanced" and how? You never got around to that part...

However it's also lower than it was one week ago. It has gone from 33 minutes to 31 minutes in one week, which is about as fast as it was going up just before 1.7.1 hit.

The problem, in my opinion, is that there is no safe way to communicate in this game. Communication via direct channel is extremely dangerous to both parties involved. The communicator has made their presence known and the receiver is startled by a other survivor so close.

I wouldn't be against side chat returning. Another alternative would be to have a radio tool, which could broadcast global messages to others who had radios. As much as side chat cut into the "real" aspect in the game, I've hardly communicated with other players in game since its been gone.

Max already told you to use another thread made by a mod for this purpose, either use it or force a mod to close this thread, your choice.

Being that it's a simulator, direct chat works fine. I was talking with someone a house away and our voices were muffled but we still chatted about a bandit. It's just not too many ppl want to talk right now. Pvp isn't unbalanced because of this. It's just the player base.

You should just have a reason why not to shoot a person .

So communication is now a challenge that players must overcome in an intense and emotional way instead of a free, magical fairy that flies around carrying your voice on cyan-colored wings to everyone within 20km of you.

I agree more comm options will be neat - radios, maybe alarms of some kind, pirate cell networks, etc. but those will be hard to come by I'm sure, and rightly so.

The fact that players have to put some effort into communication is not a "problem."

They say Bandits and Zombies . Whats the point of using name "Survivor " when from the looks everyone is a bandit.

If I wanted to use that thread I wouldn't have created this one.

And no one can stop you from doing that.

The thing is, these forums can be a place to discuss DayZ and what we would like to see changed/improved, or they can be a shower of shit from obnoxious little turds who can't read a fucking sticky.

This forum is drowning in replica threads making it impossible to get a reasonable debate going. That is why I asked you, ever so kindly, to write your nonsense in the correct place.

Why do we use the term "hero" or "murderer" in real life' date=' even though we all look the same?

People don't put clothes on or wear hats to indicate their intentions. You have to use other clues to puzzle it out now. Fire up that old mushy grey thinksauce that nature stuffed between your earholes and come up with a system. I'm sure you can do it if you try.
