FIXED Says I need to delete files in pbo area (screen shot)

I can play hardcore but not regular without the below message popping up.  I deleted the BattlEye folder and installed the Battleeye .dll file again but that didn't help.

 

Any ideas?

Verify your game through steam. If that doesn't work, I'd recommend a reinstall. Seems like you have some missing files.

I've uninstalled twice and both times after install I get this same window popping up. Getting game files from Stream.  

Any ideas on what I can do to resolve this issue?  can't get into a server with it like this.

Did you install modified pbos? Did you look into the game folder if there are left over pbo files? Afaik the uninstaller doesn't delete files it doesn't recognize as original.

I've never touched the files, this just showed up on when I tried to log in one time and ever since I haven't been able to log in.  I've uninstalled twice and it still doesn't fix it.

Enforcer...I just realized what you were asking me.   No I didn't go into the area where the files were kept and looked to see if there was extra files there.  I'll go uninstall again and then go look in that area and see if I see any files.  If there is......how did they get there???  I didn't download anything....Stream?  I've got auto update set.

Also {im saying your stupid or anything} but remember to delete everything to do with dayz, you always have some left over stuff in the steamapps, common file i think that you can delete as well :) hope you get this fixed buddy

FIXED!!!  Thanks guys.    I downloaded the game...had a "Waiting for Server" issue right up front but then it kicked me to the server list...picked a low ping server and tried rejoining.. IN.

 

Appreciate it.    I completely didn't realize that extra files were left in the Stream folder after I uninstalled the game.

Well...I got to play for about an hour or so, logged off to do some work and came back to log on...and the window showed up again..  It's kicking me out for both the above image I posted and now I'm getting kicked out because BattlEye won't update for some reason.  When I find a server I can at least log on to, I start running and within 3 minutes I get kicked for either those two things. 

 

It's freakin' frustrating.  I've had this issue since they uploaded that patch to fix issue from the last update, but before that everything was working fine.

 

FYI:  I don't use hacks OR altar ANY of my files....so please don't go down that road as being the cause.  (just wanted to get that out from the beginning).

 

Anyway, I'm lost to what options I have to fix this issue. I've deleted the game, cleared the files that I could and reloaded 3 times and I'm still getting the above issue.   Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What do you think about me deleting all the ARMA II games from my folder?  Is there any chance some of the files are getting mixed up with Standalone files?  They're all going in the Stream folder when I download them.

For BE you need to manually update:

 

If manually updating your BEClient.dll (from http://www.battleye.com/download.html) doesn't work and the update keeps getting downloaded in-game something is obviously wrong with your file permissions.

To fix this please go to "C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\DayZ" (make sure that you can see hidden files and folders) and delete your BattlEye folder there. After that the new version (that you manually downloaded before) should be correctly loaded.

 

As for the PBO's go Programfiles(x86)/Steam/Steamapps/Common/Dayz locate and delete the above listed PBO's and launch.

Try this.

 

I fixed this by deleting beclient.dll and renaming beclient.dll.new to beclient.dll

Edit: It was definitely BE fucking up and not file permissions as OP suggests, marked the whole thing as "Everyone" and passed to child objects (beclient.dll and beclient.dll.new) and BE still wouldn't pull its head out of its ass. Beclient.dll file was also locked in use by Steam until I killed Steam.exe*32 so that be why.

I've tried all of that.  I've wiped out all history of Dayz from my computer.  I've wiped out all of BattlEye...I've removed everything and started fresh....to the point where my player didn't even show up when I started Dayz after a fresh download.  2 things happen.....1. the files reappear (screen shot above)  2. BattlEye will not update.   I continue to get kicked for one of those two things.

 

All my settings were lost when I wiped all the history off my computer and by the time I got those settings fixed while in the game, it kicked me out for BattlEye not updating.  Replaced BattlEye with new file and I get kicked for the game files not having keys assigned to them.  This is getting really frustrating...

OK...fixed it.  I deleted the files and BattlEye.  Downloaded BattlEye again and dumped it into the Streamapp\common\Dayz\BattlEye folder and REBOOTED my computer before I launched Dayz again.  A window popped up when I started Dayz that stated something about  agreeing with their terms blah blah blah...clicked agree and I was able to get in and stay in the game for over an hour+.

 

So it's fixed.
