Yeah... amazing isn't it? No wonder people are sniping with that. The FOV is partially why I'm a bit upset that the PU scope on the SKS can only be sighted for 300m. That rifle can shoot to 800 and even the iron sights has the capability to 800... :( People can zoom like crazy just using their FOV, and they're kneecapping a rifle that theoretically can shoot farther... quite reliably mind you... hrmph...

I'd just like to preface that I vehemently hate the fact that the FOV does this. The only reason why I used it myself, is because other players would have an advantage if I didn't. So, at the moment there's really no choice. So, play ethically and be disadvantaged or unethically and even the playing field?
