Irish. 4886 Posted March 27, 2014 I've been going over this idea in my head about Zombies.. and how you could potentially clear a town, or make it less dangerous to loot. Also how you could just have some good old fashioned fun with the Zeds. It does require a partner though, and I have not had one to try this yet so maybe someone can before I get to and let me know what happens? So you go to a town, hopefully unlooted. Your partner takes a rifle, loud one preferably, and goes to a position that is at least above 2nd floor height (as Zeds can at times hit you on the 2nd floor from below). 2.5 story barns work well for this, also any green watch tower, firestation, airfield watch towers.. anything that gets you up above 2nd floor level. So he gets there with his weapon, and starts shooting a few rounds.. Mosin is best for this. Now you wait. The Zeds will come running in soon. So your partner can now either: A. Loot the town safely (if you are on the outskirts drawing all the Zeds away from the buildings towards your shooting)B. Start Melee killing off the zeds that have collected underneath you.. this is the part that I want to know what happens? Im not sure if the Zeds will spawn back in town, on the edges, or what will happen if one player draws aggro via shooting, and another player sneaks up behind the zeds and hacks them to death? I know they will spawn back in, but in what condition and where? Time to test this for science.. anyone have input or try this yet? :) 3 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Elle 562 Posted March 27, 2014 (edited) I think they might spawn back in town close to their original spawn location. but it does sound like a lot of fun to try out. I'll see if I can log on with a friend tonight and give it a go. edit: I forgot to mention - I love science :) beans to you sir! Ill just lay in the grass and pop up, start hacking like a madman :Pyeah my stable regular char is loaded with some gear I've been holding for my son but I'm seriously thinkin about just droppin it off at the nearest police station cause I have no idea when the boy will take a mind to load the game and we can play. as for the gear, I can just imagine the eye bulge of the unsuspecting passerby finding a pristine, fully kitted M4 and 5 full 60 mags with an extra stack of 60 to keep it interesting (I have to change my play style to accommodate the new zed behavior and the M4 was my carry wep) oh and a pristine compass (not that anyone really uses those after the first week of playing anyways). I used to have an ACOG but I dropped that M4 on accident one day so its got one o those red dots. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
