standalone?

Hey guys in need of help I have arma2 and arma2 oa and I'm using dayz commander to play but is there another download for standalone? Because server I have been on looks nothing like standalone

Any help would be greatly appriecated ;)

Oh and I've paid for both arma2 and arma2 oa none steam if that helps at all

Standalone is separate from The Arma2 Mod DayZ.  The DayZ mod is free (assuming you have Arma2 + OA) where as Standalone is about $30 and you do not need Arma2 or anything else to play it.  The two are different in both looks and in some respects mechanics.

open your Steam client and click on "store" type "dayz" in the search bar

But DayZ standalone runs through steam. So if you hate steam, you're kinda screwed.

I've been on the site, hats where I got the other 2 from but no mention of standalone just dayz

DayZ (on the above and below site) is the Standalone.

DayZ mod is not available to buy as it is free.  The Mod requires Arma 2 and OA to play, where as you can just buy DayZ and play it (thus standalone).
