Can You Take Blood From A PErson Who Just Died?

I have been slowly taking blood from my buddy becuase he is O- and I have a small storage I plan to give to the TMW guys, but in the case he is shot is it possible I can take some blood from him withing a few minutes after death?

I believe so. However this is dangerous because after someone dies I believe the blood type of the blood bag is tied to their character, so you could potentially kill your recipient. This needs more testing.
