Attachment shouldn't influence the performance of a gun as they do in game. A foregrip should only give you the ablity to use attachments, a flashlight...obvious...foregrip...slightly faster weapon movement...grenade launcher...makes the front end heavier...etc...this crappy gun in pristine condition is bs and i hope he realizes that.

I know but the game developers have there head up there ass on the logic of how guns and parts for guns should function sadly.

The sporter is actually an amazing weapon in the right hands. Fast firing mag, close to zero recoil, dampened sound, and you may paint it as well.

All within 200 meters. Aim six inches up from the head of your target for 200 to 300, and you've got a silenced killer on your hands. This isn't call of duty. Good shooting requires patience. Dismissing the .22 caliber as terrible is simply misinformed.

The .22 is also one of the more deadly rounds, as it can shatter off after contact, and ricochate around, causing extra trauma.

No its a terrible weapon for the simple fact that it does NOT bring down zombies fast unless you have pin point accuracy with the gun unlike an SKS or FNX45 where even a body shot can down a zombie. Kiting 3 or 4 zombies around trying to get a clean shot with the .22 is no fun believe me. If the damage was tweaked or it was even allowed to bleed out the target even when hit than it would be effective. But as it stands stopping power wise you need to be fast or just drop the gun period.

 

And i have dropped them fast with head shots in some cases but in others its just a pain to lug the damn thing around.

I said the right hands. Clearly, this does not pertain to you. Also, discharging firearms at zombies is not advised.

The problem here, is people are to used to downing zombies on one shot. This alone should be fixed. If it's not a headshot, it shouldn't kill them, only slow them down.

You do not get to rate a gun on its body shot capabilities against zombies alone.

It maybe a deadly gun in real life but were talking about against infected mainly not ppl. And if you want reality to the .22 it should do no damage to anyone in a bullet proof vest or ballistic helmet. The round wouldn't have the penetration needed to do the job. however on a normal clothed person without ballistics or even on parts of the body that are not protected it should do considerable damage.

 

Also there really nothing else to do atm till hunting or base building comes into play so ether killing zombies or players is the only thing atm.

why the fuck do you even shoot zombies? isnt that's what the axe is for?

Than there should be no guns in game if thats all were supposed to use if everyone is to afraid to use the damn things.

 

Anyways shooting a gun should be risky but you should be able to LOS or whatever to whithin reason. And im hopping they find a way to implement the stealth.

Infected or not..if you shoot out the heart or the brains they should drop. You shoot the legs, damage muscles or maybe shatter the bone a bit the legs won#t support them. Even a guy under drugs drops from that dispite him feeling no pain from the shot itself but they should have an effect, we are not shooting resident evil zombies here. Even TwD shows that you have an impact on them even if you don't attack the brain, it just doesn't stop them from trying to get to you even if you hack of their arms and legs.

It's not fear...it's not beeing stupid. You know what happens when you aggro the whole city. I would use the weapons in the right situation but not in Zombiegorsk or Elektrozedvodsk or Berzedzino. :P

Id like to see rag doll effects with zombies and intricate dismemberment of bodies but the engine sadly probably wouldn't be able to handle that probably.

Well, think a bit, why walk in the middle of elektro unloading .22 magazines?

 

guns are supposed to be used when you're with the advantage, with patience, not to just unload entire clips on a zombie's belly.

Best: M4

 

Worst: M4

 

 

Why?: It's about as accurate as a paintball gun and as powerful as a .22LR but everything else about it is a M4...

TBH I like all the guns so far but if I had to pick:

SKS for best all around gun, 1-2hits and fairly accurate.

Magnum for worst, why? because: Low ROF, Low capacity, shit accuracy and it's sound bugged breaking everyone's ears. It does look and sound good though.

if it weren't for the sound bug I would choose blaze for worst, simply due to the inability to mount optics.

I shoot them for target practice and to test the effectiveness of the guns, but only in low populated areas. Also, it's nice to fire off a few rounds when you're carrying 200+ bullets on you and you got nothing else to shoot.

What do you think are the best and worst or your favorite and least favorite guns in the game so far? I've tried out every gun in the game at least on zombies. I've found all of the new guns and tested them on zombies, but I found the Sporter 22 and Amphibia S to be extremely weak unless you get a headshot on zombies. They sound quiet and have low recoil, but they still attract zombies to you like flies on poo. Does anybody know how much damage a .22LR round will do to human players? I had a Sporter 22 with 3 magazines, but I had to drop it for an SKS because the SKS does so much more damage (at least to zombies). I do like the new 1911 as it will drop a zombie in one shot. I found the Amphibia S to be a very common gun, but the magazines for it are extremely rare for me, so I never got to find out how many body shots it takes to kill a zombie with one (I'm guessing the same as the Sporter 22) as it would take way too long to chamber a single round into it. Anyway, I'd like to hear everyone's opinion on the various guns in the game since we now have a decent amount of guns available.

   I love to have the amphibia for killing zombies on larger servers, and it's great for killing players in a firefight, as well, if you're flanking. It's a 1 shot headshot that will either KO or kill, so if you're in a firefight and you flank, you can take out 2-3 people before you are even noticed. Other than that the M4 is good for close range combat ONLY. Anything further than 50 or so meters and you should use a mosin.

   Yep, it's the quietest gun in the game. It's good for executing annoying prisoners ;). I have two magazines atm, I believe.
