Thoughts after trying new patch. Mostly good.

I finally  was able to try the new patch.     Even though its annoying how zombies spawn not to mention immersion breaking....... I do like the fact they are faster.    If they correctly have to use doors and stop spawning out of thin air..... The game will be damn near perfect.

 

The bad?  I think when you pull your axe out, it should already be in the up position.   Why the fuck you you bother to pull your axe out you were not going to use it? 

 

I think they fucked it up because when you first join a server and then first time pull out axe, its not in the up position.   But after you put the axe away and then pull out your axe again while on a server, your axe is in the up position.   So the developers fucked something up i think.

Well, putting the axe in the ready position is only one keystroke, so I don't know what the fuss is about. It compensates for pulling back when swinging a heavy object.

But i also mentioned they didnt even implement the new requirement consistently.   I said if you put your axe away ( using hot key) and then later on bring out the axe again, its already in the up position.   So why did they bother to make our characters not have melee items in the up position ONLY when fresh on a new server.  These fucking Dayz developers cant even figure out how to make a simple command action consistent.  No wonder they wont try to fix zombie collision.   When will Dayz get a real game developing team?

Not angry because of having to raise melee items.  Im pissed off that they so unprofessionally implemented the new game feature.    The new feature that is so simple, is not consistent as I mentioned.   So Im pissed because this is more proof Dayz will never be completed unless a different game developing team gets the job.   We are so fucked guys.     This game is in horrible hands.

im getting session losses and red/yellow chaining

the dysnc is better player side after the hotfix

but the communication to the server has been re-fucked

Major rubberbanding still here but new zombies didnt seem to bother me any, don't know what people are bitchin about with zombie agro.

You are glad that dayz team is showing their incompetence more and more with every patch?  You must think this because I stated Im happy that zombies are more difficult.     You dont see the inconsistency of how they tried the new melee command?   You are not worried DayZ is in shitty hands?  You dont get it, we should be fucking worried they can fuck up littlr things and dont even try to fix major zombie problems for over 2 years.

Your probably keeping your fists up in general when putting the axe away. That's why its already up when you pull it back out. It isn't up when you log in as your fists are naturally down. Pressing space cycles between the two states, so you can choose whether to take it out already raised or lowered.

Feel free to give constructive criticism about axe handling, but do check to see if there's an existing thread on the recent patch perhaps.
