servers which eliminate hopping

I mean entirely. not restrict by adding a cooldown, but making it so that it is simply not feasible. How do I find them? I am looking for one in Europe.

 

if there is some nightime it would be nice too. I have played this for 5 days and it is always daytime.

It's not possible to currently cure the issue of server hopping with the tools available. The solution to people hopping servers for loot is to have servers scheduled to restart frequently - if lack of available items is your issue you are looking for a server with 1 or 2 hour restarts. If it's people ghosting and killing you, might I suggest camping less?

What about those servers where all the loot vanishes when you join/switch ? I am pretty sure I read somewhere about them couple of days ago, hence the thread

Maybe the OP is suggesting Server locked items, so that you cannot transfer them with your character and use the server as a hop ?

 

If so we will have to wait until release, but wouldn't be that bad an idea for a more Hardcore approach in the future.

Little confused, a private hive server is the only way to completly stop hopping. They where your toon is bound to that server. This is already in the works, and we should have them soon (ish). But right now theres only public hive servers. The only ones iv seen, that try to enforce "clan only" or whatever, are breaking the rules. Never experianced that loot dissapearing thing either :)

 

PS - if you mean the servers where you join and all your gear is gone....these servers are just having problems staying connected to the hive. Its not a built in feature ;)

Thanks for your  replies guys. I am going to wait then. I was sick of this bullshit in "warz" (as well as eating bandages) and don't care to experience it again. It just ruins immersion
