ninjaontour 123 Posted March 16, 2014 Dragging the box to the action bar and then pressing the number it is assigned there also does the trick. If memory serves me correctly you need to bind the keys which turn the pages, regardless of being able to access the book's front page.

Highlander007 249 Posted March 16, 2014 Year 2020. The zombie apocalypse has happened 5 years ago. Not alot of people are alive anymore. But there are few survivors. Most of them are lying in a bush or an empty, cold house, reading a book. xD I wanna make that movie. Let's open a Kickstarter campaign

ninjaontour 123 Posted March 16, 2014 I don't play video games to read books. I don't play video games to eat beans, wear children's backpacks, or sew up my torn jeans. I find myself doing these things regardless, because I can.

Eating is more or less required. I don't play video games to read, wear children's backpacks, or sew. Reason being? I don't have a vagina.

Fine, substitue "eat beans" for any other non-essential activity. The point is that ancillary activities in a sandbox game make sense, maybe just not to everyone. Demonica 311 Posted March 16, 2014 I actually set aside some in-game reading time, where I specifically for that hop on to a low pop server for an hour or so, down a couple of tuna cans and a sip of water. Once I've read enough and wanna go get some action, I just hop on a full server again, always praying hard that I don't get killed because I haven't finished the book yet.The loss of a book would seriously piss me off more than losing my gear, cause the gear is somewhat more easy to re-acquire, while a certain book sometimes doesn't show up for days. pillock 850 Posted April 10, 2014 [post=http://dayz.gamepedia.com/Books] Heavier in the 19th,18th century it seems. Would like to see more Shakespeare. Still looking for Hamlet. That's a keeper. I have a few players potentially interested in doing a Shakespeare in Elektro youtube type thing. So more plays, maybe even screenplays. I'm hoping for lower word count items. I picked up Origins of Species awhile back and gave it a shot. But what a task! Not sure what's wrong with me but I'm far more interested in the administration and accounting functionality of DayZ versus anything weapons or hunting, lol. Must mention my hope for pocket protectors so pens and their kind are removed from traditional inventory and allowing for variety and quantity. Also binders so we can hold multiple papers in one inventory slot. Finally, I wish the cursor could act as a pen during "write note" so that we could draw stuff. Maps, genitalia, ya know everyday DayZ stuff. Right. I've just found two copies of Hamlet in the same room. That's got to be an omen. Who's up for rehearsing a performance? We could tour and everything, if we're any good. Could do with a few more copies, but two is better than one. Plus you can get away with actors playing multiple parts in Shakespeare - maybe a bit of hat-swapping to indicate a change of role? I know some people find Shakespeare a bit impenetrable, but Hamlet is an exception in my view. It's a truly, truly great thing - and I'm not much of a literary geek. I saw a Hamlet production a year or so ago having never read or seen it before in any form. After you get used to the language it was like watching a really good movie for the first time. AlphaDogMeat . 493 Posted April 10, 2014 I started reading Histoire d'O in a smelly wooden hovel, but had to put it down to go and find an English/French dictionary. By the time I'd found one and got back, I was too tired to fap.
