3. No, we want Bohemia to lease 100 more servers. They've only made like 50 million dollars so far. Couldn't they shell out like 5K a month for couple more Experimental servers, until beta..?

 

Aren't we supposed to be testing this game?

Not really, no. We serve as a final stress test of the stable versions of the game, to see what happens when tens of thousands play it simultaneously. But the actual testing is done internally.

That's a general problem of the internets and basically in this day and age.

People forgot how to be patient and realize not everything is available the moment they want it. I'm not speaking of "kids" only but also people who should know better (like myself).

 

Everything seems to be available every time on the internets and people got used to it too much.

 

Pissed me even more off when I was working in an office where people did resend emails containing random/ unimportant stuff with high-priority if you didn't answer within 1-2hours.

 

I'm happy to wait 12 months longer for a finished and fixed product rather than having everything released too early with heaps of bugs, glitches and generally instable.

The mentality that dev's need to have a patch every week, in my opinion, is really idiotic.

 

Why should the dev's rush to make a game that will be crap if they don't take their time working on it?

 

Take bf4 on pc, that game was released WAAAAAY to early and it ruined the game for alot of people. 

 

Also, I bet the people who complain that there is no patch yet for Dayz are master programmers who can probably debug to save their lives. (sarcasm)

 

Seriously, give the dev's time and report bugs, the game is being complained about as if it were release status and it really is irritating to hear someone bitch about one things, have the dev's spend so much time fixing the issue, and then they bitch about another problem and take the dev's for granted.

Cant they just be impulsive? Wanting something now, being impatient... those are not things adults are above.. trust me. Its also a trait of just about every human being out there to want what you want as soon as you can have it. Not just brats, who have been spoiled.

 

And the question was are you happy to wait... so all that 1/3 of those polled are saying is, I would be happier having things now.

i myself have re downloaded the mod version of dayz even with exploits its still better than a 30 million pound game. its not speeding up the updates are quite farsical. i will buy arma 3 later and play the mods like breaking point , 2017, atlas life. dayz standalone is a what could of been its missed the boat.

 

i dont mind giving them twenty quid so much as ive had 2 years of fun out of the mod but the SA is just a joke.
