[Irony] How to get fully geared in less than 10 minutes.

It works. Me and 2 other buddy's charged 5 guys. We were all beach spawns and they looked to be decked out dupers (All same gear).

 

In the end me and one friend died but we took down one each. While my 3rd buddy took out the there last three for the win.

 

We ran back and profited...

 

All KO's/Kills were with fists. They all had pristine Kevlar Helmets.

 

 

It was in Elektro on Sniper Hill...Of course.

 

 

Best part about beating someone into a KO. There gear is still legit!

 

is there any special trick or something? because when I try to ko my friends new spawn It takes me 3-4 hits on the head

Just happened to me in Elektro, some guy popped like out of nowhere in front of me and 2 mates (both fresh spawns), punched me 1 time and I turned unconscious, then apparently killed my mates with the M4 he stole from me and started calling me/ us "n*gger" and stuff like that...was a matter of less than a few seconds.

None of us actually has heard or seen him coming.

 

I was wearing a balistic helmet and it basically was my first contact with a punching fresh spawn. Didn't know they can take you out with just 1 hit.

 

/edit: I got no idea if he was a hacker or it was just an issue with desync/ lag.

One says you cant get knocked out with motorcycle helmet, another goes yes you can I knocked someone out who was wearing ballistic helmet.  It's like some wierd tennis match, he hits a tennis ball over the net, the other hits a grapefruit back, same same. Erm no it's just not tennis.

Pretty much nailed the point of this thread. A newspawn hunter that was defeated by newspawns and immediately goes to the forum to cry about OP fists.

 

These threads are becoming very commonplace, almost as commonplace as those "My account was hacked and now I am banned"-threads. But as it means that both fists and Battleeye is WAD, I rather like those kind of threads,

Everyone acts like all the characters in the game are trained fighters, who are not dieing from starvation and thirst. I am surprised the wind does not knock people out. Hell one good headshot punch should have the chance to knock someone out. 

 

"but you have reflexes irl blah blah blah" well yeah you have reflexes irl that help you with your reflexes in game by moving or dodging.

 

It's pretty easy to knock someone out with punches, and it should be.

 

If you don't like it then don't let people get close to you, and pay attention to behind you like hardly anyone ever does. If you are sniping and not checking behind you every few seconds you deserve to get knocked out. I have followed people all the way from berinzino to the NEAF RIGHT behind them and they didn't even notice..

if gearing is that important to a person ..by another copy of the alpha and see to that you always have a character you can dup when you get fraged. it will last you less then 5 minutes to get your gear back if you post your dup character near a typical spawn area.

This is funny!

People tend to just spray out 3-4 magazines just to make some noise, and most players, including myself, seek out where they shoot from.

This game started out with sneaking around, but now it has become more of a hunt of other players, just have some common sense, no point in hiding :)

I think this just underlines my point to be honest. Those who are firing shots are doing so for 3 reasons; killing someone/zombie, attracting attention or they are an idiot. Let's take them in order.

If you fire in order to neutralise someone or something then you have to be paranoid as it's likely that other zombies or other players will now know of your existence and your position. TS/Skype will also play a part of this if the now dead player has friends on the same server. If you are are trying to attract attention then you are looking to get people coming to your location and so will be alert. Finally if you are an idiot well that's just pay-dirt, right?

Ultimately unless the shots have been fired off by some idiot in order to see if they have any ammo in the weapon, or just to see/hear what it sounds like, then you are going to run into someone who is waiting for you. If it was the idiot then you are dealing with someone who is unlikely to follow sensible "gameplay patterns" in which case approaching them could result in unexpected actions.

So, all in all, my answer would still be, if you hear a gunshot and you weren't the person shot at and dependent on the distance you heard it, you look for cover then you look to see where you thought the shot came from to see if you can find any movement. Unless you fancy a fire fight, I would not be heading blind straight to that spot.
