It's a graphics enhancer, his better known works are with GTA IV and Skyrim, but there's also a generic version that works with many games, including ArmA series

 

These are taken using ENB 0.076 and SweetFX 1.5 on ArmA II

You would have to test it and find out as they are post process injectors, let me know.

Yeah, you still have to run the game in windowed mode, otherwise it crashes on start up. Also, changing any video setting that requieres refresh will make the game crash, if you want to change any setting you gotta run the game with ENB/SFX desactivated, change the settings, exit the game, rename the files into their proper names again and play.

Also, changing any video setting that requieres refresh will make the game crash, if you want to change any setting you gotta run the game with ENB/SFX desactivated, change the settings, exit the game, rename the files into their proper names again and play.

I'll post my settings as soon as I get something that doesn't ashame me, follow this topic or add me, my setups are not that impressive but I don't mind sharing. Now let's see if we can get a crazy russian modder to make a dedicated version.

Since they are basically injectors, mr steak and potatoe ( got that nick from babylon5 lol ? ) are you sure they will NOT trigger VAC or BE ? I knew that shitty-VAC start banning if anything attach/inject the game exe.

Is VAC even enabled ?

I'd be careful with these.

 

Anything that modifies or injects changes can be mistaken as hacks and banned. Anti-cheat software doesn't often look at what software like that does as much as how it does it.

Look better or more look like blurry, jammed with colors/contrast, comic style?

Imho it looks not really better, just different - it's beautiful to look at like a wallpaper or print.

The good thing about ENB or SweetFX is that there's no good or bad, just different preferences, you can use these tools for gameplay or just to take screenshots and it's always cool to have options to make the game fit your visual tastes. Also, ENB's generic version is really limited, you only can deal with bloom and color correction, my point of asking at this thread is to get ENB's author into making a dedicated version of the mod for DayZ and get much more effects to work.
