srgntpepper 85 Posted March 9, 2014 I think we should be able to place flashlights and gaslamps on the ground while theyre on. Maybe u can do this already, but I couldnt figure it out. It would be nice to be able to do this so you can arm yourself at night with weapons without having to have a headtorch. My bad, maybe im just doing it wrong.Latest experimental patch feathers a new light particle that makes the gas lamps actually look like they are lighting up the area , I tried one a while back and it didnt give off any light at all really , but the flashlight should always be on after being turned on and dropped so that's weird .. I wish they would add more light sources , maybe like solar powered spotlights for when day/night cycle and barricades come in ?? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
VentFox 26 Posted March 9, 2014 The way it was (That I noticed with the gas lamps) Is that if you turned one on you could put it on the ground and it would light up the area around you. Also if you just had it in your backpack or something it did the same thing (You'd basically be a glowing beacon so it wasn't the best thing to do) I loved having a gas lamp on me during the night especially with friends (Kinda like a portable campfire to sit around) Only Issue was that when you switched to a different server the lamp you had on your character would stop working.
