Confirmation of change : session lost

Hello,

I have this message appear when I play. I can connect to servers, but can not open doors ... Then the error message appears.

I also got the message "Authentication timeout".

Do you have a solution?

Think i have the same problem bacause when i join a server i can't interact with anything like can't open door, can't eat, can't use my weapon things like that i can't do and then after 2-5 minutes some times longer and then i get the message "session lost" but for some reason when i am still waiting for the error message my desync will go high like 100000 and then i can open doors thing like that and even play for a while and then it will happen again.

My guess, without knowing anything about it really :D

 

Steam time out....

 

It happens in Arma III aswell, on and off, all the time, simply because steam looses connection to the "steam main server" and you will not get authentiated, so you get kicked from the game because of it.

Although most of the time in Arma III, is would kick you with the message "Battleye client not responding", but it sounds like its releated tbh.

 

Or maybe it has something to do with this:

 

 

The lag issue with 0.42 relates to size of UDP packets exceeding what can be handled. We are isolating which message causing this to fix it

Your problem is with the FPS, has nothing to do with the "Session Lost" at all its a different problem/troubleshooter help. This is known to the Devs and working on a hotfix for the "Session Lost" problem.

 

Please do not post to another thread as it will just confuse people.

Only thing I can suggest is, total remove DayZ ( via the delete option in Steam ), delete any folders/hidden files it may leave behide in the Steam folder. Then re-download it all fresh again.

THERE IS A WAY TO FIX Confirmation of Changes: Session Lost!!!!!
my buddy Fyreffect told me to do this. 
1. go to your steam library 
2. right click Dayz on the left of your screen (listed with your other games)
3. click "Properties" down at the bottom
4. when the screen pops up go to the "Local Files" tab second to last from the right
5. click the option " Verify Integrity of Game Cache"
6. it will validate. and will replace any missing files of the game.

i was missing 5 files. did this and no more "Confirmation of Changes Session Lost" message for me!!!!!
i am not sure if this works for the other messages, nor i dont know if i jus got lucky n it started working. all i know is that i am at NWAF looting the ♥♥♥♥ up.
PLEASE PASS THIS ON TO OTHER FORUMS SO PEOPLE CAN PLAY
and give "Fyreffect" the ♥♥♥♥in shoutout!
