Will bullet hit delay get fixed? Was it fixed in the Mod?

Bullet delay = shots fire, blood spray later, takes a while for body to register, can shoot back in the meantime

 

similar actions = bandaging, you used up one rag but it doesn't say "You are no longer bleeding" immediately

Haven't had an issue with bandaging but for the delay in shooting, if it hasn't been fixed then, it won't be fixed now.

It might get better, but I don't think it will ever be "fixed". We can always hope though.

As soon as we have a proper netcode, it will be fixed.

 

But I'll appreciate, if there will stay some kind of delay due to stopping power. Like in games, nobody will drop, because his hit points are empty xD

This would mean: 

Deadly Magnum shot (chest): Drop in 0.1 seconds

Deadly FNX shot (chest): Drop in up to 10 seconds (Seriously, you have to empty half a magazine to get sure, that he will not shoot anymore.)

Arent these desync issues (or ping)??

 

I don't remember it happening much in the mod, maybe a split second delay in my bullet hitting and the guy dropping but not much :)

I don't recall this issue being in the mod but I have experienced it a lot in the standalone. As Karmaterror said I think it's probably related to desync, the devs have told us quite a few times recently that the game has serious bandwidth issues, it's using a lot more than it should be, but they're planning a fix (Guaranteed Network Messages).

0.37 will be deployed to Stable during scheduled maintenance on Wednesday, 5 March 2014 GMT. Changelog will be distributed at that time.  LIES!!!

While i like the idea that most shots aren't instakill and the victom can still retaliate if he/she is fast enough through this bug/feature/script whatever i do agree that it has to be made faster. I think it has something to do with calculating the blood value and damage you take and what effect has to be done.

You don't mind them shooting back even though you know they should fall? I find myself always taking cover after firing all my killng shots.
