BlueBlighty 15 Posted March 5, 2014 I'd assume Survival would be developed, like hunting/cooking on 0.42. Buggy of course, but there. Maybe experimental will get updated to it?

rickyriot 1009 Posted March 5, 2014 42? How very Douglas Adams. It's funny how such a jump in version numbers can make me squeal like a schoolgirl. It shouldn't but it does..

I can just store my stuff there.
cuwe 66 Posted March 5, 2014 *Shiver up spine* Excited to see if this rolls out to experimental soon (today). Looking forward to a few more new goodies!
deebz1234 243 Posted March 5, 2014 is there a changelog?
Guest Posted March 5, 2014 (edited) is there a changelog?there's no changelog for internalservers, only devblogsinternal -> experimental -> stablechangelogs only appears on exp&stables Edited March 5, 2014 by Guest
LouisK 85 Posted March 5, 2014 (edited) It was 0.40 a few days ago, at least the internal test server that showed up on my browser. I've read an article on semantic versioning a few weeks ago, what they might test as 0.42 is actually going to be pushed as 0.38 most likely, and according the semantic versioning, that means there were at least five major changes from 0.37. (Hunting, cooking, maybe even fishing?, physics, containers...) However, on a second thought, they might not follow universal semantic versioning to the letter, as otherwise the third number would be 0 every time a new version comes out. solodude23 649 Posted March 5, 2014 SO EXCITED. When I woke up I was saddened to find that the server maintenance is delayed till Friday. But now it seems as though experimental might get a new patch today! Fingers crossed!
rickyriot 1009 Posted March 6, 2014 * bump * So the question is, what is going to be included and when is it going to be available on experimental. Physics and hunting would be such a sweet addition... * fingers crossed *
Window Licker 504 Posted March 6, 2014 (edited) Yes my thoughts exactly hopefully that and OR the persistent containers...i already know of a house in the middle of nowhere with a fridge. I can just store my stuff there. The storage is supposed to be only backpacks for now according to the devblog video, What else is on there? some physics? I can't wait to see!! rickyriot 1009 Posted March 6, 2014 I do think they need to be careful with the storage. I'm all for an Epoch level of building which will inevitably mean permanent storage for large items, but for now and to allow a certain level of balance I'd like to see storage only capable for smaller items. Backpacks certainly seem to allow that. I'm also in favour of a box that can be buried, if you have a spade. This should reduce on server and client lag (as when buried you wouldn't need to render anything on screen).
