Implementing Duct Tape

Recommended Posts

Anyone remember Dean Hall saying at E3 that duct tape could be used to craft a weapon with a knife and a pole? I'm assuming kitchen knives would be best. Don't think he said the word 'spear' but that is what it would be. Haven't seen poles about so not sure if that is still being implemented or scratched.

What other uses could duct tape be used for?

  • Waterproofing.
  • Armor (shirts/pants/etc) against zed attacks.
  • Blindfold/Gag.
  • Mending durable objects (tents/water bottles/glasses/rain gear/etc).
  • Bandage alternative for splints.
  • Bandage alternative w/infection variable.
  • Hang saline bags for personal usage.
  • Vehicle repair (when they arrive of course).
  • Handcuff alternative.
  • Tent Crafting (Idea: 1 knife/2 rain coats/2 trash bags/2 burlap sacks [i know there isn't trash bags]).
  • Shoe repair.
  • Silencer Crafting (Idea: plastic water bottle---one use only).
  • Book repair.
  • Hang notes.

If anyone on the board has idea's for duct tape, please post them.

Blindfold...you are one sadistic bastard.

Also I see me and Irish visit the same websites.

My uncle worked in what was basically a junkyard (he was a boat builder and the landowner was a family friend), one of the dogs there got ripped up by a stray dog.  Pretty graphic, it's belly got ripped open, he took all the guts that had spilled out and put them back in, and used duct tape to seal em back up, worked and as far as I know the dog's still alive. (3 Guesses as to what his new name is)

You forgot the most obvious one!

The binding of 2 mags =P

While I don't see why we shouldn't be able to do this, it's actually pretty retarded and no-one does it in real life.
