Hello so i was playing before max payne 3 and i got this idea .. 
and i was able to make some kind of silencer with bottle duct tape and a pistol ofc... that would work only once then you have to find a new bottle, well we already have bottles and duct tapes ingame ... xD

I think the logic is flawed. Im pretty sure that it doesn't actually work like that IRL.

Sound suppressors are made to work with subsonic rounds, without those you'll wreck a suppressor faster and your shot will barely be silent.

Super sonic bullets break the sound barrier, and that creates a sonic boom when they go whizzing by your enemies.

This is why many games show a drop in weapon range when you jam a suppressor on there.

You could probably make subsonic rounds just by removing some of the powder then add some sort of filler.

But I've probably gotten enough wrong already, Gews can come by later and clear things up.
