Hopefully we will be able to build campfires soon to keep warm once being wet lowers body temps. So keep hold of them if you can, just incase you still have that same character.

With a campfire you'll be also able to cook game you've hunted. All that's not implemented yet.

My first hours in DayZ:SA I thought I have to cook my food and I was taking one matchbox with me omg ^^ Just throw them away, they will be needed a few months later I guess. Basic cooking is already working and should be implemented with the next updates.

Rare? I come across 2-3 every time I play, but I know when time comes and I need one, they will all dissaper.

^ OK. I've only come across two so far (in three week) but a RL pal found two in one building at the same time. So maybe they're not that rare.
