DayZ SA will not give me my Native Screen Resolution

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I recently swapped monitors on my system (my secondary had a better screen resolution). Now I am running into a problem. It appears that DayZ standalone will not give me the 1600x900 resolution as an option, instead it still suggests my old monitor's resolution 1440x900. I have tried resetting the game, resetting the video settings, but with no luck. At this point I am out of ideas.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Go to "my documents" and find the dayz folder.  In that config folder you will see:

Resolution_Bpp=32;
Resolution_W=1600;
Resolution_H=900;

Check your aspect ratio under User Interface is set correctly.

1440x900 is 16:10

1600x900 is 16:9

i run dayz in 640x480 and I recently had to reset my computer and reinstall dayz, it used to be fullscreen but now the sides are just big black spaces and all my settings are the same, do you know how to fix it?
