Since the bug report section looks like some matrix code.I decided to post there my frustration!

I was hiding near the trees and watching over the airfield for any bandits.A zombie saw me so I had to drop my SKS for a second (I had a shotgun as main weapon already) to kill it quetly with my axe...after the zombie dropped dead...well...see for yourself.

It's almost like I can hear your frustration as your trying to pick the SKS back up... I've never experienced that bug myself, but it sure as hell looks annoying.

totally feel your pain...this has happened once to me, but a tree wasn't the culprit...dropped SKS for axe on sidewalk in Polana to deal with a zed (M4 shouldered) and then spent about as long as you trying to pick the fucker back up...someone was nice enough to distract me with some bullets though. managed to beat feet outta there, steady flow of expletives rolling the whole time...ah the weird wonderful world of Dayz Alpher :rolleyes:

Shit son,  that blows balls.... Ive gotten that when the global server hadent updated with my client server yet after dropping a weapon but normally a few mins and it will connect and fix itself....but not you i guess lol so it must be a different issue.

that happened to me too. It seems like bushes and trees eat your stuff if you drop it while hiding in them.
