It's like the zombies never end!

The devs have certainly upped the zeds in this last experimental build. 

 

I meet this guy after a fresh spawn and he kicks ass like a champ!

I don't think the zombie count is upped, they just respawn now. ;)

Nice vid, glad to see zombies slowly becoming a threat. 

So if one joins the experimental build, does your current character get wiped, or is it separate like hardcore servers?

Respawn rate defiantly makes it feel like there is more of them, it's awesome

Shooting them makes it even worse :D

You draw all their attention :D

They were either spawning very quickly or there were just a lot around.  I've never seen to many! LOL

Separate hive just like hardcore.  So no character wipe.

That's me!  :D   I was hoping I'd run into this video..I forgot to ask you where you were going to post it. It's too bad I'm all glitched out from your perspective haha.

 

No mad skills though, just trigger happy for some Zeds! Where you end up heading after we split?

Haha! You were a legend dude!  My son got a kick out of watching the replay.   

 

I actually stayed in that town and found a dead guy stuck waist deep in the ground - he had so much loot on him and I have no idea how he ended up like that, but I'm no longer a "fresh spawn".

Almost feels like the mod again! I remember when firing the Old Lee "Dinner Bell" in Cherno was basically a death sentence. 

 

Can't wait to see how hard they are further on in the development process.

Yea that was good times, but I did not like those unrealistic quick respawns.

I'd rather see all of the available zombies roam that area and only respawn after some longer time or when players leave the area.

 

But yeah, the mod was harder because of the constant flood of zombies, you could not kill them all.

They didn't stop coming on experimental at Solnichniy . . . . I had to punch about 20. Kill a group of three, have two more running and another spawning near you. It'll be fun on stable. Loot a can, slash a zombie, loot a can, rinse and repeat.

About 5 min later I ran into another fresh spawn closer to the docks, helped him with some zeds, then headed to the hills/cliffside to the north where I saw a 3rd fresh spawn who was bleeding and getting chased by a few more zeds. Took some shots from there, you might have heard them. Traveled west to this area and found that it's a pretty populated (though zombieless) city now! Broke my leg in it. :)

Yup! This video nicely demonstrates why the current level of KoS simply won't be a thing when the game is finished. If the zombies are swarming like that based on low numbers and an unknown re-spawn rate, what are they going to be like once the numbers have had a significant bump? :D
