bobotype3334 160 Posted March 15, 2014 Lol guys....it's not the greatest idea ever....but it's viable,i don't see what all the big fuss is about.I did my service at summer-time,let me inform you that wehad to fold our sleeves of our uniform during excercises, because the heat made us sweat buckets. ...and make rags out of them would be one badass idea.(without of course destroying the rest of the garment)Because, you big dope:[1] the sleeves would not yield enough material to make 1 DayZ metric Rag considering one shirt=2 rags[2] this requires the implementation of a whole other model of shirt for all the long sleeved shirt variations[3] ^that is time consuming for the devs[4] ^And they have more important stuff to do
Ronskie (DayZ) 2 Posted March 15, 2014 No need to get all sarcastic. This is a pretty good suggestion.. i really like that idea. we could also have seperate models for each button undone or done up. and also the collar up or down. and even the chest pockets.. open or closed. well devs? hop on it. :P Yeah it's actually a good idea, well, for some. bobotype3334 160 Posted March 15, 2014 Yeah it's actually a good idea, well, for some.He was being sarcastic sidge and you know it. That's way too much space and time taken up in the game making different models of all the clothing components.
Damnyourdeadman 1045 Posted March 15, 2014 Well they're obviously not done with the game core developing.Eh,as you can see,we are running low on things to suggest :PI'll support, every idea that is good and viable.Suggestion posts in this point are made in the "what if..." spirit. Damnyourdeadman 1045 Posted March 15, 2014 If you, personally, are running low on things to suggest, then just stick to supporting the good suggestions. This one doesn't fall under "viable".Why?Besides the fact that it would take precious developing time...Do you have any other reason to hate it?It's viable because it will help in the future. You know temperature and stamina is going to be implemented soon.In case of hot temperature,i find it a good idea to raise and fold your sleeves.Keep in mind that doing marathons in extreme heat is not good for the average human. Also i want to be able to unzip the leather jacket, coats and other clothing and having theability to rip my jeans/pants leggings to a shorts version. Wow, rolling up your sleeves is going to make such a huge difference in hot temperatures. And yes, precious developing time is precious. I gave you my other reasons. Every second they spend on retarded shit like this is a second not spent on the core elements of the game we actually need: Zombies, PvP, realism, survival and the apocalyptic aesthetic

enforcer1975 1111 Posted March 15, 2014 While were at it lets put in an option to cut your shirt and pants into short shorts and a tank top so we can avoid KOS with seductive appearances Like this right?

billy_bones 13 Posted March 17, 2014 Oh and they also need to add drop-leg holsters, shemagh's, scarfs, more neck gear, leg gear like kneepads and mag pouches, and arm gear like fingerless gloves or something.this I would love to see, or at the very least the ability to craft some of this.
