GriefSlicer (DayZ) 84 Posted February 26, 2014 The whole idea of wheel clamps for car wheels when "End game" vehicles come out would be great. If you don't know what wheel clamps are it is a clamp that is locked onto your wheel to stop your car from driving. The owner would be presented with a key that can unlock the clamp, but if the key is lost you are basically screwed. To stop the wheel clamp from being completely over powered the clamp could be removed by a hacksaw that would take around 30 seconds to 1 minute. What do you think about this idea? toasted duckie 156 Posted February 26, 2014 I think wheel clamps are -extremely- uncommon. Especially in a region like Chernarus.. Carkeys seem like a much more realistic and logical to have... Also, a wheel clamp would be just another tool for the trolls of Chernarus to be trolling around with..
sausagekingofchicago 4711 Posted February 26, 2014 I'd strip it of all parts and leave the frame and locked tire.
GriefSlicer (DayZ) 84 Posted February 26, 2014 Yes car clamps should be extremely uncommon and yes people would strip the vehicle of all of its parts, but in the end you still have your car where you left it B)

I think it's unnecessary. Why not just have an ignition key for the car? One less object to render, and much simpler to use.
