What next?

Initially I approached people looking for people to survive with but was met with nothing but death despite a raised hand and shouts of 'Friendly friendly!!' I was even shot down with both arms raised and no loot on me at all.

So, I have become adept at avoidance and living undetected in the woods hiking with my compass from point to point to get whichever specific loot I require. I now know the map pretty well and where loot is to be found, but what next? The only thing I can think of is a bandit sniper, but I don't need any more loot and the idea of sitting around looking for targets bores me senseless.

Any ideas?

BTW, I'm playing UK servers.

Yeah go to a place like the pik kozlova or to the east of cherno and sit in the hills, and then as soon as you see a band of M4 bandits, snipe them with a Mosin

Yes, Bandits or noob killers are good to go for and I have done some prelim recces in both these places Kaxii mentioned. The trouble is they are vulnerable in the rear, especially Pik where most pros will climb the mountain to go around the rocks so as not to be in the open to a sniper placed there.

I posted the same topic few days ago, and like you, I also have no idea what to do. Zombies aren't a real threat, so yes this game is quickly becoming shoot 'em up rather than a survival game.

And after writing the above , I log on only 1 player on server, and guess what, he just happened to be in the same building. I was very careless and just running around, the odds of him being in the same are we're very small. He just decided to shoot, I fell unconscious, only to wake up to see him putting a bullet in my head. So yes this game isn't a survival game, just another shooting game. Perhaps if there weren't much bullets going on around, maybe we could have traded and gone our separate ways. If I wanted a shooting game, I would be playing call of duty, I'm here for a survival game, and at the moment it isn't.

Usually when I'm geared up and healthy, I head to Solnichney and see if I can assist some Bambis, either by giving/leaving them stuff or by planning to protect them from spawn killers. I've not been successful in killing any as yet, usually because it's oddly quiet when I get there and nothing much happens before I move off somewhere else and catch someone's bullet.  :rolleyes:

 

I'd like to increase the pool of people I play with, I only really play regularly with one other guy (and his friends) and they have an entirely different playstyle that I dislike (run down roads/in the open, don't care about checking areas and are generally just a disorganised, noisy, rabble), so if you like intelligent/tactical movement and shooting the shit out of people who deserve it then feel free to contact me.

how do you guys not understand that during an apocalypse not only will you have to survive whatever is happening in the environment but also other ppl, why is this such an issue with everyone, if you dont want to shoot other players then chill in the woods and do nothing or hold hands with other friendlies and skip across the vast fields, stop the whining and go shoot something or stay fully geared and scared and out of sight.
