Why did my character reset?

WTF!... Really? I've spent majority of my hours playing this game only to have my character reset. Why did this happen is it possible to get my stuff back?? Before it happened I went to change servers and couldn't connect so it said my character has been reset! FUCK THIS GAME IM SICK OF THIS SHIT. Also last night my previous character got stuck in a wall and died...

Sorry this happened to you they are working on bugs but what can i say it is alpha dont get attached to your gear if the bandits dont get  ya the bugs will...

 

This also happens alot due to badly configured servers so if they dont connect to the hive properly it is going to happen alot try only joining official sounding servers eg uk 1-21 hosted by vilyar etc etc you get the idea...

We're testing and alpha and this is a known bug.

My suggestion is to get the name of the server and write a very detailes ticket in the bug tracker. Link the ticket or issue # here and people will upvote it.

On that note, there are a couple of servers I have in my personal "DO NOT PLAY HERE" list I made. I always seem to run into hackers on those servers and I always get the message that my character is corrupted and had to be reset after I leave those specific servers.

Better delete the game from Steam and ask for a refund immediately before it is too late.

I am aware the game is in Alpha but geez what fun is it to be looting %90 of the time due to complications surrounding spontaneous character resets?

I know right?! Looting is quite fun! Also, could you enlighten us on where you logged out? It could be that you got killed when your character was idle for the 30 seconds it takes for it to despawn.
