MarchmelloMan 16 Posted February 22, 2014 Greetings Survivors, somehow I thought (or did I read it somewhere?) that it is possible to chop wood and make a fireplace for cooking meat (e.g. from hunted animals).After some time of googling I found sth but only for the DayZ Mod and it doesn't work for the standalone. I have an axe, a matchbox with matches and firewood, but I can't combine any of these. Or did they remove it in the standalone version? Also I can't chop wood with my axe. Thx for responses! SpiraxSarco 23 Posted February 22, 2014 (edited) That is not possible yet on Dayz Standalone, it is on the Dayz Mod but not on the standalone version, probably it will be, but it will take some time.They have to add animals to the game, since the only one's i know about it it's some birds and a bunny nothing else.
