ninami 37 Posted June 24, 2012 Just wanted to make a thread regarding female characters in-game. So basically I wanted to go female since it's not many females out there and it was nice to get something new.But now when I FINALLY get my Ghillie Suit, it says "Females can't use skins yet, will come in a future patch"...Well thanks for letting me know that before I chose a female?...This kinda changes my gameplay since I can't use Ghillie which is awesome camouflage.I know it's Alpha and everything but at least let us know that Females are far from done, I never would have chosen a female if I knew that. rinaun 26 Posted June 24, 2012 He keeps adding more and more things that overall sound like a great addition to the game, but it seems he forgets that it adds more onto his plate. I'd hope he dedicated the next few patches to making things work smoothly.

SuperCalleh 26 Posted June 24, 2012 Actually when the patch for skins/females was released (I don't remember which came first) it was stated that females can't wear skins. So it was known, and that's why there are so few females.
Codus 22 Posted June 24, 2012 Just be patient. You'll die sooner or later. Choose a male character then. And on a sidenote: If you ask me the Ghillie should be taken out of the mod completely. The camo military clothing are fine, but the Ghillie does not fit into the zombie setting too well.Or maybe make it so if you choose to wear it, you won't be able to access your backpack. Since in game the game you don't wear any at all. There should be more skins like PMC.The ultimate dream would be to have clothes you could put on piece by piece like in real RPGs. Maybe that will be possible in Arma III :-)Awwww can't wait till AIII comes out and DayZ gets into the final status. Fun times ahead!
