Caboose187 (DayZ) 3036 Posted February 21, 2014 Today while playing with two friends on Balota Book Exchange, a hardcore server, we were at Novy Sobor when I was trying to meet up with them at the barns. There was a lot of dsync happening and players losing connectivity. I told them I couldn't find them and they were telling me I was right in front of them. I could see neither of them for over 5 mins. I then finally got the red chain of death and poof, the appeared out of thin air. Neither me nor my friend playing had any issues. I was killed first, then when my friend was looking for my body the guy who killed me transported next to my friend and killed him. It doesnt happen as often ( and no offence to the question was anyone carrying any duplicate items or a large amount of containers as i find that often causes desync) as it use to but it still happens and as you say it doesnt even show that your desyncing until the packets of info start to catch up ( which by then you could easily be dead without even knowing what happened.) I discovered someone i use to play with was carrying a huge amount of duplicate gear and any time i stepped into his network bubble( the area around him not exactly sure of its size though ) i instantly suffered enormous desync move 600 m or so away and suddenly game ran fine back to him desync.... AnthraxAlex 1 Posted February 21, 2014 I would have this problem a lot when carrying multiple protector cases ammo cans and first aid kits. Whats even weirder is it gets tied to a specific player near you if you move far enough away from that player it stops desynching. It can be tied to an item in your inventory as well if you throw out the bad item and move far away from it or the server resets the desynch stops. I don't carry multiple containers just one of each type and I haven't had the problem since. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
