omgwtfbbq (DayZ) 1069 Posted February 21, 2014 As is tradition, people try stupid things in DayZ. Like this guy, for example, who tried beating me to death with a shovel. Why is it stupid? I had two guns and an axe, and was friendly. All he had to do was ask and I would have given him some rice or something. A quick exchange of words, and both of us would have gone on our way. Geckofrog7 1168 Posted February 21, 2014 (edited) How often do you guys get your face beat in for trying to be friendly?Some guy charged our group of about 6 guys, 3 of which had guns, 2 with fire axes, and one unarmed.He actually knocked a guy unconscious with a baseball bat and ran away after I epically wasted 6 shotgun loaders and missed.He had joined us earlier, and I almost hadn't noticed he picked up the bat. We were just in shock for a few seconds watching this guy prescribe his certain death sentence as he started beating the unarmed dude. There I was, helping, bandaging, or splinting fresh spawns when this asshole comes up wielding a revolver. I attempted to talk him down, but he still kept coming. My doctor character was a crafty one, he kept only a revolver and always had it concealed in case of this such incident. As he approached I ducked behind the shelf. (This all went down in the market.) I pulled out my revolver and shouted one last time, "back off dude, last warning." He kept coming, so I calmly brought the revolver up to eye level and stood. Before he could realize that this doc don't fuck around POW! Popped him in the chest. Choke 2 Posted February 21, 2014 This evening, i ran on the coast just to give fresh spawns drinks and food. Well, none of them (luckilly) tried to kill me in any sort! Zoridium JackL 16 Posted February 21, 2014 I was in berenzino on a fresh spawn wiht nothing more then a fire-axe, some guy (also a fresh spawn) charged me while I was looting and broke my legs, I knocked him unconcious (indefinitly) and then started going on about how he thought I was a bandit (you know, because all the cool bandits these days run around in beige t-shirts and jeans with nothing but an axe and childs backpack) and how I should help him wake up again so that he could be my friend. at this point I handcuffed him, read him an extract from peace and war, and then proceeded to crawl on my merry way. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
