Good job as usual!

I advise you to update the list yourself as soon as you can (I know you will), it would be far more accurate than it is the one you took as a beginning template for your contribute :)

Thx a lot for this, it gives the growing anticipations even more life  :) Just one suggestion, maybe it would be more user-friendly if you put the newest update in top instead of the bottom, so people quickly can see the newest stream when they click on their bookmark (yes, I have a bookmark for this great post  :beans:)

Finally done (watched stream, noted, checked with iBanes list) ...but I was SO slow, Dean beat me with a rollout ;)

 

whatever: The list in the first post is updated, including the "reverse" list (newest topic on top) and....yeah thanks for all the nice comments and the beans (and making a post of me "popular" whatever that means^^) :)

Live stream with Brian Hicks and Lead Animator Viktor Kostik was watched and all things I could catch were noted and are now as usual in the first post of this thread.

And I miss already the Kiwi-accent when Mr. Kostik talks - he is far not s funny and even harder to understand ;)

 

And fear the hoe of death! ;)

Forgot to mention: DayZ studio tour is also covered (even if there was not much to cover...)

On the Rezzed Twitch stream, there were quite a good amount of that question but it never made it to the Twitch guy's attention.

When you think about it its kind of amazing how they're pushing an engine which was not designed for any of this stuff to the limit.

 

Imagine if Dayz was made on Unreal 4 or Frostbite

Hey, at least we have this going for us...although I really don't understand there concept of gun choices and ideals. It's kinda like saying I don't want the game to be a PVP-fest....makes gun spawns high anyways. *Facepalm* (Example)

Yeah it's DayZ which means it's BI, which means it's Arma ;)

And the DayZ SA engine...well since they built it nearly from scratch again, this time it is built for a lot of things.

Well most things, but, my biggest annoyance: The "shooter multiplayer server assignement" ...I mean cmooooon. Really? Rented servers for the PUBLIC hive? Nothing against the private hive idea (which supports mods etc. etc.) but....Bah, for public hive there should really be another architecture, but THATs impossible with Arma...

And the gun spawns will be lowered (at least) in the beta....you know as long as it can be tested (and should be) Weapons will spawn in high numbers...^^

I mean, the SVD is a DMR (much more so than other battle rifles). So either they were referring to the specific DMR (i.e USMC DMR) from ARMA II, or they have a contradicting statement.

Well, I don't think there's much there with regard to gun spawns. But they just seem to have some contradictions here and there. I mean, they're throwing in SMGs and ARs galore. Not sure why they'd say they're timid about BRs/DMRs (they're not, given that the SVD is inbound and Torchia has expressed interest in the G3 and FAL). Or LMGs, if ARs, SMGs, and BRs/DMRs are being included.
