I'm way too inconsistent to ever get a consistent label because I don't play my character as I would if I was role playing. I play based off my mood that day.

Sometimes I'm a psychotic KOS machine, other time I'm a bandit hunter. Sometimes I help people, other times I poison food and wait in the bushes and giggle when people eat it and die from it while I stalk them for 30 minutes.

All in all, I once saved a group of bambis by wiping out a coastal death squad who couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. The bambis all geared up and followed me for an hour, claiming to be my body guards and calling me the "God of DayZ". My epeen was huge and veiny.

Then a day later I just decided to be a rooftop sniper in Elektro and kill anyone I saw, and didn't get one kill because I missed 3 mosin shots and got axed in the skull.

While I don't want to correlate sociopathic tendencies to how people play a video game, that guy does seem to be an exceptionally bad d-bag.

Still, others seriously do not equate how they act in game to how they act in real life. I have one friend who is super personable and has always had a way with people, especially the ladies.

As soon as he gets into a video game, he seems to be unable to link that the people behind the online avatars might have feelings or even thoughts. He's just a total dick bag and has no scruples making everyone miserable, even people he knows.

If you get mad, he truly just looks confused and says, "dude, it's a video game, chill".

Sometimes I'll watch people and track them from a distance. Not to hunt them but to be able to easily avoid them. I'm always willing to help someone however, especially if they are in obvious trouble.

 

But if you enter a building that I am in with weapons drawn and I have no way out, I will probably fire at you.
